MISSION STAFF
We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Director as well as part-time bookkeeper and office assistant.
If you're creative, hard-working, team-oriented, passionate for Jesus, love His people, and want to see generations draw closer to Him and to each other, we'd love to talk with you about joining the team!
Camp Bethel Ministries is a faith-based ministry serving the southwest Virginia community and the surrounding regions.
Mission staff employees are domestic missionaries and help with support raising, coming alongside the ministry to offset payroll expenses.
From our Executive Director, Brian Sackett:
Hello on behalf of all those who've loved and served here at Camp Bethel!
We're not far from a year as part of the "family" that is this ministry, and after just a short time, the mountains of southwest Virginia feel like home.
It's been an amazing gift to begin hearing the stories and meeting the people connected to this place where God has done so much to make Himself known over such a long time. While it'll take years to see what more He has to do, our family is excited to become part of the story He is writing... and we look forward to joyfully celebrating even more hearts transformed by the love of Jesus.
On behalf of the board and all the staff and volunteers over the years, we want to thank you for your heart for Camp Bethel, and we look forward to getting to know you!
It is our prayer that as you walk through 2022, you'll find a few quiet moments to draw near to
the One who made you, who loves you, and who gave His life for you.
If you don't know Christ personally, we would be honored to talk with you about how you can. May those of us who walk with Christ take every opportunity to share the greatest Gift the world has ever known, with those God places in our paths.
Brian and Angela Sackett join CBM having served most recently at a Christian conference and retreat center on the east coast, where Brian served as Operations Manager and Angela worked with women’s ministry as well as marketing and social media. They are the parents of five plus a daughter-in-love, having homeschooled all five with just two left to graduate. Brian has also been an Area Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an IT company administrator, and served as a young adult pastor.
He loves serving others and listening and leading people to success, is an avid hunter, enjoys sports, and loves time in the outdoors. Angela is a writer, speaker and photographer who is passionate about encouraging others in biblical hospitality and a nourishing lifestyle. The Sacketts are most excited about connecting with the local community, bringing new energy to the good work God has done through Camp Bethel, and diving in to serve together as a family. They look forward to using their individual gifts and strengths and connecting with the guests and friends of Camp Bethel and their new hometown.
