Merry Christmas from Camp Bethel!

Rejoice!  The Light of the world has come, and we can have life in Him!

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord, we also rejoice that His birth made way for His life, death and resurrection.  And because of Him, we, too can have life forever with Him!  This is why we do all we do - so we can point others to the Light of the World.

A few highlights as we also wrap up another year and anticipate a new one…

• The Adopt A Cabin program has had a BIG “soft launch” kickoff with the adoption of the “A Frame” (new name coming!).  We are praising the Lord for the generosity of a local family, which means this beloved cabin will get a new roof and much needed exterior repairs and updates, as well as beautiful updates to its interior.  It will be even more welcoming to guests and provide potential future staff housing as we grow our team.       ​
• In November, Rob & Connie Albright joined us to celebrate their “retirement” into a new season of ministry, by helping us develop partner relationships and get the behind-the-scenes more organized.  Known as “Mimi and Poppy” to those closest to them, they’re looking forward to building relationships in the local and expanded community and being part of the growth God has for this season!
• The Outpost continues to expand as a year-round location for local gatherings and relationship building.  It is home to a weekly Bible study for young adults, as well as regular ladies’ night events, game nights, local business luncheons, discipleship meetings, neighbor meetups and more.
• Last but not least, we are officially up and running with our first rebuilding campaign - “Roofs & Roads: Paving the way to your home away from home.”  This fundraising campaign is to directly support the road improvements and updating of many buildings which need new or repaired roofs.  This is the beginning of making camp more comfortable and accessible for year-round use.  See more here!
